I visited LA from CO and after a Google search of places to eat nearby, I came across Sonya's Deli. I went with the recommendations from other customers and ordered the eggs and rice and was so happy I did! I was able to order ahead, and drive up to the pick up window. The staff is so friendly. I have been thinking about this place since I left LA. I'm planning on another trip to Louisiana and when I'm in Opelousas, this will be my first stop! So dam good!!

Fast and friendly, with good food and great hospitality. The breakfast is awesome, especially the loaded eggs and rice, with ham, sausage and bacon. The Zeus Burger is a personal favorite. They treat you like Family.

I've never had the but all of the other food is delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are terrific and all cooked to order. The plate lunches are fantastic. and are perfectly seasoned and also cooked to order, never sitting under a warmer. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you will get. ...

1st time going here. Will be back on the regular. Got the rice and egg with bacon spicy. This is my new spot for breakfast. No complaints. Definitely a bang for your buck.
